About the Legal Team and Your Role
This role will be to support the continued growth of the business, reporting into the Deputy General Counsel. The THG Legal Team currently comprises 18 individuals across the different practice areas (including corporate, co-sec, property, tech and general commercial). This role would sit within the general commercial team.
Responsibilities (clearly linked to KPIs):
- Negotiating, drafting and advising upon a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer contracts, distribution agreements, standard T&Cs of purchase etc;
- Negotiating, drafting and advising upon intellectual property arrangements, including licence in and out of IPR;
- Advising upon website related activity (including website T&Cs, privacy policy etc);
- Advising upon data privacy related matters (prior privacy experience not essential);
Role Requirements
- Law degree
- 3-6 years’ PQE in a reputed law firm or the legal industry
- Holding a valid practising certificate
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Highly motivated and reliable individual
- Ability to make sound judgements
- Ability to handle stressful situations and perform under pressure
