Telephone Business Development Manager (1st & 2nd Charge Mortgages)

 

📍 Location: Watford

💰 Salary: Up to £35,000 + generous quarterly commission scheme!

🏢 Job Type: Full Time & Office Based

 

The role:

As a Telephone Business Development Manager, youll be responsible for creating, managing and developing relationships through proactive telephone contact with a number of intermediaries within your allocated region.

Youll be working collaboratively with BDMs to hit product targets. Youll also be promoting our clients products to new and lapsed businesses as well as handling key account management duties.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Creating, managing & developing relationships with introducers to achieve new business targets.
  • Supporting BDMs with all mortgage and loan case management for broker partners and accounts. This is not limited to outbound sales, inbound enquiries, chasing terms and deals, meeting booking and proactive account targeting.
  • Identifying appropriate firms to work with regional BDM.
  • Ensuring that any reports and the CRM system is kept up to date, accurately recording discussions and activities.
  • Contacting potential new brokers for introductory business.
  • Ensuring that our clients products are front of mind and that all intermediaries are updated about new products and features.
  • Speaking to our introducers and handling new business enquiries.

 

The requirements:

 

  • Have the ability to multi-task to ensure SLAs are met.
  • The confidence to pursue leads and overcome objections.
  • Call handling, listening and influencing skills.
  • You have the ability to analyse & present complex information in a clear, relevant and interesting way.
  • Previous experience within a sales role is highly desirable.
